Job summary

SEM Haven in Milford, OH is seeking a Charge Nurse to deliver compassionate nursing care to our elders within a family-like home. You will work cooperatively with residents, families, coworkers and volunteers, following facility policies and local regulations to create a positive environment.

You will promote elder-centered care, participate in daily life activities, and support the household team to maintain independence and dignity for each elder in our care.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Long-term care experience preferred.
• Freedom from illegal drugs and alcohol in the workplace is essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to elders according to policies and procedures.
• Promote elder-centered care and maintain resident functioning.
• Collaborate with elders, families, visitors and volunteers to create a positive environment.
