The Chautauqua Center in Jamestown, NY is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to provide direct and indirect patient care under RN supervision. Responsibilities span adult medicine, pediatrics, women's health, and outpatient nursing services, with emphasis on assessments, teaching, and coordination of care.

Under supervision, you will perform routine exams, document care, assist with procedures, and support patients and families in self-care.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Current LPN license or must have taken state boards within 2 months after graduation.
• Current CPR certification.
• One year ambulatory or public health experience preferred.
• Strong assessment skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.
• Knowledge of medical office practices and records.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare patients for examination and greet them.
• Take vital signs and health measurements.
• Perform screenings and assist with procedures.
• Maintain clinical records and inventory.
• Coordinate care and refer to resources.
