Job description

As a Loan Assistant/Loan Processor, you contribute to that mission by providing superior service when processing and preparing loan documents. To succeed in this role, you are a detail-oriented individual with a zealous attitude.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Order credit reports, title work, flood determinations, appraisals and all other papers necessary to process a loan.
2. Work with title companies and agents to prepare closing documents and meet closing deadlines.
3. Maintain integrity while reviewing title commitments prior to closing and ensuring the proper conditions are met.
4. Understand ongoing compliance issues and practical application of those guidelines, such as RESPA, TRID, and TILA.
5. Assure accurate entry of HMDA data.
6. Assist lenders with tracking, scanning, and collecting of financials.

Qualifications:

1. Previous experience as a loan processor preferred.
2. Understanding of underwriting processes.
3. Excellent communication and customer service skills required.

Preferred Education, Experience, Technical Knowledge and Skills:

1. High School diploma or equivalent.
