Job summary

The Nanny Connection in Cleveland, OH is seeking an experienced live-in nanny to care for a 3-month-old baby. The role requires a nurturing, professional caregiver who can establish a long-term bond with the family and follow a traditional daytime schedule Monday through Friday, starting as soon as a match is found.

The nanny will have a private bedroom and bathroom, room and board, and a guaranteed 40-hour work week at $30–$32 per hour.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job description

A wonderful family is seeking an experienced, nurturing, and professional live-in nanny to care for their 3-month-old baby, starting as soon as they find the right match. The family offers a traditional daytime schedule of Mon - Fri 7 or 7:30am to 4 or 5 pm. They are looking for someone who is knowledgeable and confident in caring for a young infant and interested in becoming a long-term part of their family. The family includes 2 cats and 2 dogs.

The mother is a physician working outside of the home, and is on call approximately two weeks each month. During those weeks, the nanny may occasionally be needed to provide overnight care if Mom is called into the hospital. Any overnight hours actually worked outside of the nanny's regular schedule will be compensated at the agreed hourly rate. When overnight care is not needed, the nanny is off duty and free to enjoy her personal time.

The family will provide a private bedroom, bathroom and room and board as part of the compensation package. They are offering $30-$32/hour, guaranteed for 40 hours per week, with additional overnight hours paid separately. In addition, the nanny will receive 2 weeks paid vacation, 3 sick days and paid major holidays. The ideal candidate will have strong newborn experience, excellent references, sound judgment, flexibility, and a warm, nurturing approach to infant care.
