Job summary

Upstream Physical Medicine And Chiropractic Practice in New York, NY is hiring a full-time Physical Therapist to deliver evidence-based care in a dynamic rehabilitation setting. You will evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, and provide therapy across orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports rehab while educating patients and caregivers.

Active PT license required; Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-approved program; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• Active State License in Physical Therapy.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with proficiency in word processing and electronic health record systems.
• A commitment to fostering strong relationships with patients, enabling them to reach and exceed their functional goals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, develop comprehensive treatment plans, and implement tailored therapy sessions based on physician referrals.

• Engage in collaborative goal-setting with patients to maximize their recovery potential and ensure they achieve their functional objectives.

Work Environment

This full-time position is based onsite at our Rehabilitation Center located in New York, New York. Your typical schedule will be Monday to Friday, totaling 40 hours per week. Compensation and Benefits

Your annual salary will range from USD 90,000 to 100,000, in addition to a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
