Volunteer Properties is seeking a Leasing Consultant to be the frontline ambassador for their properties in Chattanooga. This role involves engaging with prospective residents, managing leasing processes, and ensuring exceptional service. Candidates should have a passion for customer service and possess strong communication skills. A background in leasing or customer service is preferred, along with familiarity with property management software.

Leasing Consultants are the frontline ambassadors of Volunteer Properties. This role is key to our leasing success and resident satisfaction. You'll represent the brand, build connections, and deliver on the promise of exceptional service.
Engage with prospective residents via phone, digital platforms, email, and in-person tours
Drive leasing traffic through creative outreach and marketing ideas
Track and report lead sources and market trends
Inspect vacant units to ensure readiness for showings and move-ins
Conduct thorough application screenings (background, references, income verification, etc.)
Facilitate the leasing process-from initial inquiry to move-in
Listen actively to residents and prospects, offering thoughtful, effective solutions
Assist with other projects and duties as assigned
Passion for customer service and relationship-building
Positive energy and a goal-driven mindset
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Tech-savvy and comfortable using property management software and digital tools
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines
Deep alignment with our core values: teamwork, balance, integrity, compassion, drive, and growth
1-3 years of leasing experience or at least 3 years in a customer service role
Experience with AppFolio is a strong plus
Working knowledge of Fair Housing laws and regulations
