Water Lily Learning Center is seeking a Lead Toddler Teacher for our Avondale campus in Cincinnati. You will design and implement Creative Curriculum lesson plans for toddlers, ensuring developmentally appropriate activities and consistent routines.

The role emphasizes warm, relationship-based caregiving, ongoing family communication, and collaboration with a supportive leadership team. Ohio DCY compliance and Gold-rated status guide daily practice.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of licensed ECE experience with toddlers.
• CPR and First Aid certification required before working with children.
• Strong communication skills and ability to connect with diverse families.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Creative Curriculum lesson plans aligned with Ohio standards.
• Create a nurturing toddler classroom with consistent routines.
• Conduct regular assessments and document growth for families.
• Build collaborative relationships with parents through updates and support.
• Supervise and coach assistant teachers and foster team collaboration.
• Maintain compliance with Ohio DCY licensure and Step Up to Quality Gold.
• Stay current on best practices in toddler development and language support.
• Maintain classroom records, assessments and compliance files.
