Job description

Position Details
  • Type: Full-Time
  • Hours: 38 hours per week
  • Starting Wage: $20.50/hour
  • Wage Increases: Year 2 - $21.00, Year 3 - $21.50, Year 4 - $21.50, Year 5 - $22.50
Responsibilities
  • Provide product feedback and recommend new or discontinued items.
  • Discuss resource allocation and task delegation with leadership.
  • Communicate updates to leadership regularly.
  • Supervise store personnel to ensure compliance with customer satisfaction guidelines, proper interactions, and cleanliness standards.
  • Resolve operational customer concerns in the absence of store management.
  • Maintain a safe environment by identifying hazards and ensuring proper equipment maintenance.
  • Merchandise products neatly, maintain signage, and ensure product quality and freshness.
  • Participate in inventory counts and supervise adherence to inventory procedures.
  • Assist with product ordering as directed.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, including cash control policies.
  • Lead peers on tasks and projects, acting as a first point of contact.
  • Model job responsibilities, performance expectations, and company values.
  • Assist in training new employees and ongoing team development.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Retail experience preferred but not required.
  • Must be 18 or older.

  • Ability to operate equipment and perform general cleaning duties.

  • Basic administrative skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Knowledge of management principles related to budgeting and personnel costs.

  • Proficiency with store computers and programs.
  • Compliance with state and local alcohol sale requirements.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift (up to 45 pounds), and walk about the store.
