Job Description:
The Tobin Children’s School is seeking a caring, professional Lead Teacher to lead one of our two Preschool classrooms. Full-time positions are available, offering 40 hours per week with 8-hour shifts between 7:15 am and 5:45 pm. The educator will join a dedicated classroom team consisting of two other full-time teachers and an afternoon assistant, supporting up to 18 children daily. Responsibilities include child supervision, curriculum planning, assessment, parent communication, and ensuring adherence to safety and sanitation protocols. Our school features 9 standalone classrooms, including two Preschool and two PreK classrooms, housed in a refurbished Victorian building with beautiful outdoor play spaces and an indoor gross motor room.

We provide a variety of experiences and activities designed to encourage children to learn about themselves, their friends, and their environment through small and large group activities, quiet times, active play, indoors and outdoors. Our curriculum is developmentally appropriate, fostering creativity and teacher input.
Requirements:
Applicants must have EEC Preschool Teacher certification and early childhood teaching experience. A degree in early childhood or a related field is highly valued. Knowledge of a second language is also highly desirable.

Competitive hourly rate based on education and experience, ranging from $21.00 to $27.00 per hour.
