Job summary

ABCS Of Building Better Lives in Alaska is seeking a full-time LCSW or LPC for a private outpatient counseling practice. The role requires a minimum of 30 client hours per week and offers flexible work hours, supportive supervision, and a warm office environment.

Clinicians will treat individuals, couples, and families using CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, and other approaches, with opportunities for mentorship and growth.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience providing counseling services for clients.
• Competence with DSM-5 diagnoses and diverse presenting concerns.
• Experience using CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, Brief Solution Focused, Motivational Interviewing, EFT.

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling to individuals, couples and families.
• Utilize CBT, DBT, trauma-informed approaches and related methods.
• Develop treatment plans and document progress.
• Coordinate with psychiatry for consultation.
