Absolut Care of Aurora Park in East Aurora, NY is seeking a Laundry Aide for a full-time day shift. You will collect, wash, dry, fold, and deliver laundry for residents and the facility, ensuring clean, comfortable, and dignified surroundings.

The role emphasizes safe operation of commercial washers/dryers, adherence to infection control, and dependable attendance. Prior laundry or environmental services experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in laundry, housekeeping, or environmental services a plus.
• Dependable attendance and time management.

Responsibilities

• Sort and wash laundry according to fabric type, soil level, and infection control standards.
• Dry, fold, and distribute clothing and linens throughout the facility.
• Label resident clothing to prevent loss or mix-ups.
• Operate commercial washers and dryers safely and efficiently.
• Follow safety and infection prevention guidelines at all times.
• Keep laundry rooms and carts clean and organized.
• Notify supervisor of any malfunctioning equipment or supply needs.
