Friendship Village is recruiting for Compassionate and Energetic Laundry Aide to join our Facility Services Team! Starting pay is $15.00. This role provides full-scope, hands on functions within the community. This opportunity is Full-Time, 4 days a week, 10-hour shifts (3am-1pm).

The Laundry Aide is responsible for carrying out the normal activities of the laundry, including washing, ironing, folding, sorting, etc. of clothing and linens.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Laundry Aide
  • Collects, cleans, irons, and redistributes the Community laundry.
  • Ensures that all laundry is properly sorted, washed and dried according to each resident's preference.
  • Ensures that the laundry is maintained in a clean, orderly and sanitary condition.

  • Ability to process 50-60 Pounds of laundry at a time.
  • Commercial laundry experience is desirable, but not required.
