Job summary

The Wealshire of Bloomington is seeking an experienced Laundry Aide to join our dementia care team. This full-time position runs 7:00am–3:30pm and requires every other weekend and every other holiday.

Responsibilities include laundering resident linens, towels, and clothing, delivering sorted clean laundry to rooms, and helping with seasonal cleaning. A high school diploma and 1+ year laundry/housekeeping experience are required. We are an Equal Opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in laundry or housekeeping is required.
• Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Launder resident linens, towels and clothing.
• Collect and return resident laundry to rooms in a timely manner.
• Deliver sorted clean laundry back to resident rooms.
• Assist with seasonal cleaning duties as assigned.
• Maintain neat, clean and safe working areas.

• $20-$23 per hour


• 7:00am to 3:30pm FT, must be able to work every other weekend and every other holiday.

Laundry Aide Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent, required.


• One plus (1+) year of experience in laundry or housekeeping, required.


• Organized and Detail-Oriented with the Ability to work Independently.

Laundry Aide Essential Duties:

• Assist in keeping all working areas neat, clean and safe.


• Collect resident's clothing and linens as needed for laundry.


• Launder resident's and community linens, towels and clothing.


• Deliver sorted clean laundry back to resident's rooms.


• Assist with seasonal cleaning duties as assigned.
