Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Graduate of an accredited MLS or MLT Program.
  • Current registration with certifying board registration or equivalent.
  • Has and maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
  • Has the ability to teach, train, and coach.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain laboratory equipment performance and quality standards.
  • Manage laboratory information system, ensure data security and confidentiality.
  • Cover shifts as required by the Laboratory Manager.
  • Assist with analysis and trending of incidents and information exchange.
  • Attend staff meetings and ensure compliance with accreditation guidelines.
  • Prepare required reports and program reviews.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providers and colleagues.
  • Replenish supplies and adhere to infection control practices.
