Job summary

Compass Group USA’s Gourmet Dining & Chartwells Higher Education unit is hiring for full-time Kitchen Utility roles at Marywood University in Scranton, PA. You will help maintain clean kitchen work areas and support food service operations.

Schedule is full-time with variable days/hours. Prior cleaning and catering setup experience is required. Pay ranges from $17.00 to $20.00 per hour, with internal referral bonus available. Training and opportunities for growth are provided.

Qualifications

• Prior cleaning and catering setup experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and mop floors to comply with safety and sanitation standards.
• Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces.
• Remove trash and place it into designated containers. Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Assists with banquet table and front of the house set up.
• Assist with loading or unloading and delivering supplies and product.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment as needed.
• Complies with outlined sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
