Gourmet Dining & Chartwells Higher Education at Marywood University in Scranton, PA is hiring for full-time cook positions. The role requires prior cooking and grill cook experience and offers a pay range of $15.00 to $17.00 per hour with opportunities for internal referrals.

You will prepare food per standardized recipes, ensure proper portions and temperatures, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and assist with ordering and receiving supplies.

Formación

• Prior cooking and grill cook experience is required.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring that food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen, and stores or discards excess food per guidelines.
• Assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting as required; assists in ordering and receiving all food and supplies.
• Reports needed maintenance or faulty equipment to the supervisor immediately.
