Job summary

Maintain sanitation, restock dishes, and clean the work areas to meet Health Department standards. Requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent, some related experience preferred, ability to read English, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Some work experience in related field preferred.
• Ability to read English language to fully comprehend job requests, caution notices and similar written material.
• Ability to perform duties in extreme temperature ranges.
• Lifting up to 50 lbs and ability to stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain sanitation and organization of kitchen and related areas.
• Check and operate dishwashing equipment to standards and fill with designated chemicals.
• Clean and dry floors to prevent slips and falls.
• Wash dishes and cleaning utensils and restock glassware, silverware, and china.
• Perform general cleaning to comply with Health Department requirements.
• Polish silverware and detarnish for proper appearance.
• Remove trash from F&B areas and dispose at the dumpster in the loading dock.
• Store food stock and dry goods in their proper locations.
