Allegro Hyde Park is hiring a Full-Time Kitchen Porter / Dishwasher to join our culinary team in one of Tampa's most vibrant senior living communities. With a consistent Tuesday–Saturday schedule and an early finish on Fridays and Saturdays — and Sundays and Mondays always off — this is a kitchen role built for work-life balance.

Your Schedule:

Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday | 2:00pm–10:00pm
Friday & Saturday | 7:00am–3:00pm
Sunday & Monday always off!

What You'll Do:

• Wash and sanitize dishes, cookware, flatware, and kitchen equipment throughout every shift
• Assist the culinary team with basic food prep and kitchen tasks as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and dining environment throughout service
• Restock supplies and keep stations ready throughout the shift
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
• Be a dependable, team-first presence in a busy, well-run kitchen

What We're Looking For:

• Prior dishwasher or kitchen experience — a plus but not required
• A good cleaner with strong attention to detail and organization
• Dependable, hardworking, and team-oriented
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• No certifications required

The primary responsibility of the Kitchen Assistant is to set tables, bus tables, wash dishes, assist the Cook as needed, and complete cleaning duties.

Areas of Responsibility

• Thoroughly wash all dishes, cookware, flatware, and utensils.
• Properly maintain all dishwashing equipment.
• Work as part of the Dining Services team to ensure smooth, efficient, and safe operation of the kitchen.
• Help contribute to high quality Dining Services operations by paying attention to food presentation and taste, and courteous responses to residents and associates during meal service.

Required Qualifications
