Job summary

Compass Group USA, Eurest division, is hiring for a full-time Helper Cook position in San Lorenzo, PR. You will assist in the preparation and cooking of various items, maintaining strict food safety and sanitation standards in the kitchen.

This role requires Cook and line server experience, with a schedule of Monday–Saturday, 12:00 pm – 8:30 pm. Pay starts at $11.00–$11.50 per hour, with benefits for eligible associates.

Qualifications

• Cook and line server experience required.
• Learns to assist in preparation and cooking of various food items.
• Maintains food safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Learns to read menu to estimate food requirements.
• Prepares and cooks food according to recipes.
• Adjusts oven and kitchen equipment temperatures as directed.
• Measures and mixes ingredients with kitchen utensils.
• Carves meats, portions plates, and adds gravies and garnishes as directed.
• Washes, peels, cuts and shreds fruits and vegetables.
