Southside Animal Clinic in Oakwood Villa, FL is seeking a Full-Time Kennel Assistant to support a multi-doctor animal hospital. You will help with boarding animals, feeding schedules, and basic kennel duties to ensure high-quality care.

This role requires on-site presence, ability to lift up to 40 lbs, and a customer-service mindset. Weekend shifts may be required, and you will work with a team to bathe animals, clean kennels, and communicate with clients.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
• Prior customer service experience.
• Prior experience working with animals in a hospital setting.
• Ability to work in a wet environment.

Responsibilities

• Care for boarding animals and maintain feeding schedules.
• Provide prescribed medications to pets as directed.
• Maintain kennel area, including cleaning and organizing.
• Bathing animals and upholding high standards of care for all pets.
• Communicate with clients and assist hospital staff as needed.
