Planned Companies in Harrison, NJ seeks a reliable housekeeper/janitor for full-time work to maintain clean common areas and bathrooms for residential and commercial clients. You will ensure tenants, guests, and vendors have a clean, healthy, and safe property to live or work in, requiring politeness, thoroughness, and attention to detail.

The role offers a Tuesday–Saturday schedule, 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with an hourly rate of $17.50.

Qualifications

• Willing to stand on your feet for extended periods.
• Experience in similar roles using cleaning products and equipment.
• Able to work on a team as well as independently.
• Strong report writing and clear verbal communication skills.
• A High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors of various types.
• Dusting and polishing surfaces throughout the building including countertops, furniture, and fixtures.
• Scrubbing and sanitizing bathroom toilets, sinks, and kitchen fixtures.
• Emptying trash cans and washing/drying windows.
• Requesting cleaning supply orders, reporting breakages, and needed repairs.
