Job summary

Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo is seeking a Full-Time Interventional Radiology Technologist to support radiologists during invasive and non-invasive procedures. You will operate radiology equipment, assist with CT scans, prepare patients, and ensure safety and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires an ARRT registration, an associate degree in Radiologic Technology, and strong customer service and communication skills to interact with patients and physicians.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Radiologic Technology and up to one year of additional training.
• Registered ARRT; VI registry required within 4 years for certain staff; BLS within 6 months after hire.
• Ability to operate basic computer programs for record keeping.
• Strong human relations skills to deal with patients and staff in challenging situations.
• Must demonstrate customer service orientation and the ability to work independently within procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and handle equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Assist radiologists during special invasive and non-invasive radiologic scans.
• Perform dyna CT scans as ordered by physicians.
• Operate and calibrate radiology equipment; maintain quality control.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals under radiologist direction.
• Prepare patients and documents for procedures and ensure sterile technique.
