Job summary

Branchburg Township School District in New Jersey is seeking three Anticipated Instructional Aides for the 2026-2027 school year. Dates: September 1, 2026 - June 30, 2027. Full-time, 3 positions are available.

The aides will assist classroom teachers in delivering instruction to students, including those with language/learning disabilities and autism. They will help manage behavior, support organizational tasks, and assist with administrative records and required reports.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in working with students with disabilities

Responsibilities

• Assist the classroom teacher in the delivery of instruction to the students.
• Assist teachers in helping students organize assignments, monitor their progress and set goals.
• This position involves working with language/learning disability students as well students with autism.
• Assist in managing behaviors of students.
• Assume responsibility for learning and adapting to each student's special medical, physical, communicative, and emotional needs.
• Assist teachers in keeping administrative records or preparing required reports related to students.
