Job summary

The Growing Years Early Learning Center in Johnstown, PA, is seeking a full-time Infant Toddler (ITCS) Teacher Assistant to support the lead teacher and implement individualized activities for birth to three. This is a first-shift, Monday–Friday role with no holidays or weekends.

A High School diploma or equivalent and 2,500 hours of related experience are required; CDA credentials are preferred. The position offers a supportive learning environment and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and 2,500 hours of related experience.
• CDA credentials preferred.
• Experience related to the care and development of young children.

Responsibilities

• Assist ITCS lead teacher to reach program goals and support individualized activities.
• Maintain classroom records for attendance, meals, and related data.
• Monitor and maintain inventory and supplies according to procedures.
• Ensure materials and equipment are safe, in good repair, and developmentally appropriate.
• Provide a nurturing environment to birth through age three, supporting families.
• Support children in social interactions and learning experiences.
• Assist in feeding infants and supervising mealtimes per procedures.
