Qualifications

7+ years of professional experience in private homes with newborn/infant experience.
Infant development, feeding, sleep routines knowledge.
Calm, nurturing, proactive caregiving style.
Willingness to learn baby sign language and apply daily.

Responsibilities

Provide attentive, developmentally appropriate care for an infant.
Partner with parents to maintain consistent routines for feeding, naps, and play.
Provide independent care when parents are unavailable.
Support age-appropriate developmental activities rooted in responsive care.
Attend outings and activities with the baby (e.g., baby swim classes).
Learn and incorporate baby sign language into interactions.
Prepare bottles and meals, including basic baby food prep.
Light household support and cooking simple meals for the family.
Walk the dog and run occasional errands.
Occasional overnight or travel support if mutually agreed.
