Job summary

The Learning Experience is seeking a nurturing Infant Teacher in Round Rock, TX to provide high-quality early care and supportive learning for infants. You will respond to each infant’s cues, engage in age-appropriate activities, and partner with families to promote secure relationships and healthy development.

You will work with a team to maintain a safe, clean classroom, document developmental progress, and follow health and safety procedures in accordance with licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 18+ years old.
• Experience in childcare or early childhood education preferred.
• Knowledge of infant development and safe sleep practices.
• Ability to respond to infants’ cues and needs.

Responsibilities

• Build trusting relationships with infants through individualized care.
• Support development through talking, singing, reading, tummy time, play.
• Record observations and communicate with families and leadership.
• Follow feeding, sleeping, diapering routines per center policies.
• Maintain clean, organized classroom and proper hygiene.
• Collaborate with co-teachers to ensure consistent routines.
• Observe milestones and share concerns with leadership.
• Apply LEAP Curriculum across infant activities.
• Participate in staff meetings and required training.
• Uphold standards for cleanliness and safety in the classroom.
