Job summary

Thrive Englewood, a play-based learning preschool, seeks an Infant Assistant Teacher to support the lead teacher in a nurturing classroom. This full-time role runs Monday–Friday, 8 hours daily, at $20.86–$23.36 per hour with benefits.

You will collaborate with families and co-teachers to foster joyful, curious learners in early childhood. Qualifications include a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and meeting Colorado state requirements for Early Childhood Assistant/Aide.

Responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher in development and implementation of inquiry-based curriculum and projects
• Cultivate a learning environment that supports diverse needs and learning styles
• Enforce classroom rules for safety and order
• Conduct ongoing observation and documentation of students’ learning experiences
• Support families as partners in their child’s learning
• Plan for equipment and supply needs with lead teachers and staff
