Essential Functions

Under supervision, assist in implementing classroom programs, support children's development, and participate in activities aligned with Harbor Child Care's philosophy and policies.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop and support developmentally appropriate practices
  • Uphold health, safety, and nutrition policies
  • Implement age-appropriate curriculum (Creative Curriculum)
  • Support children during transitions and supervise them actively
  • Collaborate with the team on children with special needs
Record Keeping and Reports
  • Prepare six-week and biannual reports
Parent Relations
  • Maintain positive relationships, attend meetings, communicate regularly, and address concerns
Self-Evaluation and Training
  • Participate in performance reviews and required staff meetings and trainings
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma
