Job summary

Prudential Overall Supply in Heath, OH is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for a full-time, manual-labor role. The position focuses on preventative maintenance, repair and installation of industrial equipment, water systems and related infrastructure, with compensation $20.00-$35.00 per hour.

Candidates should have experience with power tools, reading blueprints, and operating boilers, HVAC systems and wastewater equipment; military experience is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial or cleanroom environment.
• Proficient in using power tools, forklifts, manlifts and hand tools.
• Proficient at reading blueprints, electrical wiring, hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior experience assigning tasks and goals is preferred.
• Experience with boilers, wastewater processing, HVAC systems and general facility repair.
• Experience operating industrial washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyors and related equipment is a plus.
• Military experienced candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, repair and installation of industrial equipment and water systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues with guidance from Plant Management.
• Carry out carpentry, painting and custodial tasks as needed.
• Participate in safety committee to promote safe practices.
• Follow instructions and complete assignments timely and safely.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures and industry best practices.
• Work with others in a cooperative and professional manner.
• Be available for off-shift hours or weekends for special projects and overhauls.
