Lap of Love is seeking a Full-Time In-Home Veterinarian to serve Oceanside and surrounding areas in California. Join a mobile practice that prioritizes work-life balance, mentorship, and compassionate hospice care delivered in clients’ homes.

As a DVM with a valid U.S. driver’s license, you’ll see a manageable caseload, enjoy flexible scheduling (4- or 5-day work weeks), and access onboarding, bonuses, and a robust support system while practicing medicine on your terms.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) and eligible for licensure in the U.S.
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license
• Availability to work some weekends
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families in-home
• Practice veterinary medicine with independence while benefiting from Lap of Love mentorship
• Deliver care in clients’ homes across Oceanside, CA and surrounding communities

*Veterinarian Salary Range

3-day, 4-day, and 5-day full-time opportunities are available in Oceanside, CA, including Fallbrook, Encinitas, San Clemente, Vista, Carlsbad, and surrounding areas. Compensation varies based on schedule structure, with 4-day positions starting at $107,500 and 5-day positions offering a base salary of $130,000, plus additional bonus opportunities. 3-Day Full-Time and Part-time opportunities are also available in this market and offer prorated compensation based on schedule.

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license
• Availability to work some weekends
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
• Candidateswill be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before their associated start date.
