Job summary

Lap of Love is seeking an In-Home Associate Veterinarian to serve Beverly, Lynn, Peabody, Salem, and surrounding MA communities. Work from home locations with flexible 2–5 day schedules, delivering hospice and euthanasia care while maintaining strong family connections.

You will join a community of veterinarians, receive onboarding and mentorship, and enjoy a life-balanced practice model that emphasizes compassion and professional fulfillment.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD/BVMS degree required.
• Valid U.S. driver's license required.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Background and motor vehicle record check will be conducted.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families.
• Practice medicine with compassion in patients' homes.
• Engage with families and document care appropriately.

*Veterinarian Salary Range: 3-day, 4-day, and 5-day full-time opportunities are available in Beverly, Lynn, Peabody, Salem, Gloucester, Danvers, Haverhill, MA and surrounding areas. Compensation varies based on schedule structure, with 4-day positions starting at $107,500 and 5-day positions offering a base salary of $130,000, plus additional bonus opportunities. 3-Day Full-Time and Part-time opportunities are also available in this market and offer prorated compensation based on schedule.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license
• Availability to work some weekends
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before their associated start date.
