Lap of Love is seeking an In-Home Associate Veterinarian to provide mobile hospice and euthanasia care across Naples and surrounding areas in Florida. The role focuses on practicing medicine with purpose while maintaining a balanced life, supported by mentorship and a strong community.

As a veterinarian-founded company, Lap of Love offers ongoing training, flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedules, and opportunities to build meaningful relationships with families.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree and license in good standing.
• Valid US driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Availability to work some weekends and travel to client homes.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home hospice and euthanasia veterinary care.
• Travel to Naples, Ft Myers and surrounding areas to see patients.
• Deliver compassionate care while supporting pets and families during end-of-life moments.
• Engage with clients to offer guidance and follow-up care.

*Veterinarian Salary Range: 3-day, 4-day, and 5-day full-time opportunities are available in Naples, Ft Myers, Pelican Bay, Estero, Bonita Springs, Cape Coral, FL and surrounding areas. Compensation varies based on schedule structure, with 4-day positions starting at $107,500 and 5-day positions offering a base salary of $130,000, plus additional bonus opportunities. 3-Day Full-Time and Part-time opportunities are also available in this market and offer prorated compensation based on schedule.

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license
• Availability to work some weekends
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
• Candidateswill be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before their associated start date.
