Job summary

Lap of Love is seeking an experienced In-Home Associate Veterinarian to provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care in Sarasota, Bradenton, Parrish, North Port and surrounding areas. This mobile role emphasizes work-life balance with flexible 2-5 day schedules and meaningful patient interactions.

You will join a network of veterinarians delivering emotionally rewarding care, ongoing mentorship, and a strong support system while practicing medicine with purpose and independence.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent and a valid U.S. driver's license.
• Ability to work some weekends as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Background and motor vehicle record check process prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospice and euthanasia care for pets in owners' homes.
• Operate as a mobile veterinarian delivering compassionate care with flexible schedules.
• Engage with families to support their pets during meaningful moments.

*Veterinarian Salary Range: 3-day, 4-day, and 5-day full-time opportunities are available in Sarasota, Bradenton, Parrish, Palmetto, North Port, Venice, Port Charlotte, FL and surrounding areas. Compensation varies based on schedule structure, with 4-day positions starting at $107,500 and 5-day positions offering a base salary of $130,000, plus additional bonus opportunities. 3-Day Full-Time and Part-time opportunities are also available in this market and offer prorated compensation based on schedule.

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)

• Candidateswill be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before their associated start date.
