Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Full-Time In-Home Veterinarian to provide hospice and euthanasia care at families' homes across Grand Rapids and surrounding areas, including Wyoming, Rockford, Ada, Kentwood, and Caledonia. This mobile role supports work-life balance with flexible schedules, robust onboarding, mentorship, and 24/7 support.

Qualifications

• DVM required.
• Must have valid U.S. driver's license.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Background and motor vehicle record check required.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospice and euthanasia care for pets in clients' homes across Grand Rapids & surrounding areas.
• Support families with compassionate veterinary care during meaningful moments.
• Continue education and mentorship through Lap of Love's onboarding and mentors.

• Veterinarian Salary Range: 3-day, 4-day, and 5-day full-time opportunities are available in Grand Rapids, MI, including Wyoming, Rockford, Ada, Kentwood, Caledonia, and surrounding areas. Compensation varies based on schedule structure, with 4-day positions starting at $85,000 and 5-day positions offering a base salary of $100,000, plus additional bonus opportunities. 3-Day Full-Time and Part-time opportunities are also available in this market and offer prorated compensation based on schedule

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license
• Availability to work some weekends
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before their associated start date
