Job summary

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking a dedicated in-home veterinarian to serve Dayton, OH and surrounding areas. This mobile role focuses on hospice and euthanasia care, allowing you to practice medicine with flexibility and balance.

The position offers 3-day/4-day/5-day full-time options with base salaries starting at 85,000 for 4-day schedules and 100,000 for 5-day schedules, plus bonus opportunities. Candidates should have a DVM and a valid driver's license, with occasional weekend work.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine is required.
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Candidates will undergo background and motor vehicle record checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families.
• Operate as a mobile veterinarian delivering in-home services.

Compensation varies based on schedule structure, with 4-day positions starting at $85,000 and 5-day positions offering a base salary of $100,000, plus additional bonus opportunities. 3-Day Full-Time and Part-time opportunities are also available in this market and offer prorated compensation based on schedule

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license
• Availability to work some weekends
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before their associated start date
