Job summary

Lap of Love in the Wilkes-Barre / Scranton area seeks compassionate In-Home Associate Veterinarians to provide hospice and euthanasia care for pets in-home. You’ll join a mobile veterinary team offering flexible scheduling and strong support from mentors and practice managers.

The role offers guaranteed base salary with bonus opportunities and comprehensive benefits, with the potential for 3-, 4-, or 5-day schedules depending on market.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) is required and must be licensed.
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Background and motor vehicle record check will be conducted post-hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families in-home across PA markets.
• Coordinate with Lap of Love team and practice managers for onboarding and mentorship.
• Maintain patient records and ensure smooth in-home visits and follow-ups.

*Veterinarian Salary Range: 3-day, 4-day, and 5-day full-time opportunities are available in Wilkes-Barre, Dallas, Clarks Summit, Glen Summit, Scranton, Dallas, Mountain Top, Pittston, PA and surrounding areas. Compensation varies based on schedule structure, with 4-day positions starting at $85,000 and 5-day positions offering a base salary of $100,000, plus additional bonus opportunities. 3-Day Full-Time and Part-time opportunities are also available in this market and offer prorated compensation based on schedule.
