Job summary

Lap of Love in Reno, NV is seeking a Full-Time In-Home Veterinarian to deliver compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets in their homes across Reno, Sparks, Carson City and surrounding areas.

This mobile role offers balance and professional fulfillment, with a community of over 400 veterinarians and ongoing mentorship from practice managers and leaders.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) is required.
• Valid U.S. driver\'s license is required.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families.
• Deliver in-home veterinary services across Reno, NV and surrounding areas.
• Join a nationwide community of support with onboarding and mentorship.

*Veterinarian Salary Range: 3-day, 4-day, and 5-day full-time opportunities are available in Reno, NV, including Sparks, Sun Valley, Carson City, Fernley, Spanish Springs, and surrounding areas. Compensation varies based on schedule structure, with 4-day positions starting at $75,000 and 5-day positions offering a base salary of $90,000, plus additional bonus opportunities. 3-Day Full-Time and Part-time opportunities are also available in this market and offer prorated compensation based on schedule.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license
• Availability to work some weekends
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before their associated start date.
