Job summary

Little Falls Health Services is seeking a full-time Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe environment for residents, staff and visitors at our Little Falls, MN care center. This on-site role supports daily housekeeping and laundry tasks following infection control procedures.

Key duties include cleaning resident rooms and common areas, restocking supplies, handling waste, and reporting safety concerns. English communication, teamwork, and following written/spoken instructions are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8th grade education preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English for work-related communication.
• Positive, friendly, and respectful attitude toward residents and staff.
• Ability to work well with others and follow policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning tasks in resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms, and halls.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, disinfect, dust, polish, and clean surfaces as needed.
• Empty trash and dispose of waste per procedures.
• Maintain carts, equipment, supplies, and work areas in clean, safe condition.
• Restock supplies and notify supervisor when more are needed.
• Follow infection control procedures and proper cleaning solutions.
• Report safety concerns or defective equipment to a supervisor.
• Complete tasks per facility standards and daily assignments.
