Job summary

Manor Vail Lodge in Vail, CO is seeking a Housekeeping Attendant to support housekeeping staff and front desk operations, ensuring cleanliness of public spaces and guest rooms. This role offers full-time hours, weekend availability, and benefits after 30 days.

Responsibilities include cleaning, linen handling, decor setup for events, and general support of housekeeping operations in a luxury lodge setting. Pay starts at $20 per hour with potential for benefits and scheduling flexibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• One to three months related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Moves and arranges furniture.
• Arranges decorations, apparatus, or furniture for banquets and social functions.
• Collects soiled linens for laundering and stores linen supplies in linen closet.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, stairways, and locker rooms and other work areas.
• Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floor.
• Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork.
• Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
• Delivers television sets, ironing boards, baby cribs, and rollaway beds to guest rooms.
• Cleans and removes debris and snow from walkways and stairways.
