Job summary

The Budd Group in Columbia, SC is seeking a reliable Housekeeping Associate to maintain clean, welcoming spaces for clients and guests.

The role offers a Monday–Friday morning schedule with no weekends, competitive pay of $14.00 per hour, and employee benefits such as health, dental, vision insurance, PTO, and a 401(k). Career growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning, janitorial, or housekeeping experience in hospitality, hotel, or commercial settings preferred.
• Knowledge of standard sanitation techniques and cleaning equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently independently or with a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working in a fast-paced physical environment.
• Prior team lead or supervisory experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Routine Cleaning: Perform thorough daily cleaning of rooms, offices, common areas, and restrooms following standard procedures.
• Floor & Surface Care: Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize surfaces to maintain a spotless environment.
• Waste & Supply Management: Empty trash, dispose of recyclables, and restock restrooms and supplies continuously.
• Equipment Handling: Safely operate standard commercial janitorial equipment for larger spaces and specialized cleaning projects.
• Quality & Safety: Maintain safety standards, respect privacy, and promptly report any maintenance or hazard issues to management.
• Inventory Support: Help monitor supply levels and assist with restocking as needed.
