Job summary

The Waters of Syracuse is hiring a Full Time Housekeeper in Syracuse, IN. The role involves cleaning resident rooms, offices and common areas to maintain a clean, safe and attractive environment for residents.

You will vacuum, wipe, mop, polish, sanitize bathrooms, and move furniture as directed by the supervisor while following facility policies and state regulations. Shift changes may occur to meet needs.

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or sufficient knowledge and education to perform job functions

Responsibilities

• Cleans resident rooms, offices, and common areas; vacuuming, wiping, mopping, polishing; ensure environment is safe and attractive
• Moves and arranges residents' furniture and equipment as directed by the supervisor
• Cleans and sanitizes resident bathrooms and common bath areas; cleans windows and walls in rooms and common areas
• Cleans residents dining areas after meals and adheres to weekly cleaning schedules
• Adheres to cleaning chemical hazards as indicated; complies with sanitation rules at all times
• Reports to work as scheduled and attends mandatory in-services; collaborates with the interdisciplinary team
