Job summary

The Waters of Wakarusa in Indiana is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Aide to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents. Under the Director of Housekeeping, you will clean resident rooms and other areas, supporting daily operations and resident comfort while following federal and state regulations.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of housekeeping experience, and the ability to read and follow written and oral directions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of housekeeping experience.
• Ability to understand and carry out oral and written directions.
• Ability to set work priorities and work independently in the absence of supervision.
• Ability to meet health assessment requirements, including two-stage Mantoux skin test.
• Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing, and possess sufficient communication skills to perform the tasks required.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms and other interior and exterior facility areas.
• Maintain a clean and attractive environment for our residents.
• Carry out assigned duties and responsibilities in accordance with current existing federal and state regulations and established company policies and procedures.
• Set work priorities and work independently in the absence of supervision.

• Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing, and the ability to perform tasks required.
