Job summary

Elderwood at Waverly is hiring a full-time Housekeeping Aide to keep resident areas clean and safe. You’ll disinfect rooms, assist with moving belongings, and follow safety and infection-control procedures in a compassionate, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Custodial, janitorial, housekeeping and/or laundry experience preferred
• Individuals under 18 may be excluded from dangerous equipment usage

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of general areas and resident rooms
• Move personal belongings of residents and clean/disinfect when room is vacant
• Follow safety rules and fire regulations as stated in procedures
• Practice infection control principles in cleaning methods and personal hygiene
• Store cleaning compounds and hazardous substances properly for safety
• Collect and dispose of trash to prevent disease transmission and hazards
