Job summary

Tallgrass Healthcare Campus in Junction City, KS is seeking a full-time Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents. The starting pay is $12.50 per hour, and no prior housekeeping experience is required as we provide training.

You will perform daily housekeeping tasks, follow sanitation and infection control procedures, and ensure safety with PPE while collaborating with nursing and maintenance to meet resident needs.

Qualifications

• No prior housekeeping experience required; training provided.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping duties in accordance with facility policies and state and federal regulations
• Follow proper sanitation and infection control procedures
• Ensure safety at all times, including proper use of PPE
• Maintain resident rooms and common areas in a clean, orderly, and welcoming condition
• Work cooperatively with nursing, maintenance, and other departments to meet resident needs
• Show courtesy and professionalism to residents, families, visitors, and coworkers
