Compensation: $16 per hour

Shift: 2^nd shift job, beginning at 1:30PM—10:00PM

Job Summary:

Brook Hollow is seeking to add an experienced Full-time Housekeeper to its hospitality team as part of our 2^nd shift beginning at 1:30PM—10:00PM. We are looking for persons who can focus on attention to detail while being friendly, courteous and respectful. This individual will perform any combination of cleaning duties to maintain a clean, efficient, sanitary and comfortable setting for our members, guests and personnel of the Club. The goal is to create a clean and orderly atmosphere in a fast-paced environment. This person will have a visible presence around the Club. Pay rate will be based on experience.

Essential Responsibilities:

1. Proven experience as a custodian or housekeeper.
2. Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance.
3. Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing.
4. Cleans bathrooms, checks stocking levels of all consumables and replaces when appropriate.
5. Vacuums carpets and buffs floors.
6. Empties all wastebaskets and collects trash around clubhouse.
7. Wipes down electronic equipment and disinfects telephones.
8. Notifies superiors on any damages, deficits and reports any maintenance issues to engineering.
9. Washes inside and outside of windows.
10. Inspects and changes burned out light bulbs.
11. Cleans employee’s locker room and employee’s lunchroom.
12. Sweeps patio area and dusts patio furniture.
13. Cleans and mops snack bar and pool patio floors when open.
14. Performs additional duties as directed by a manager or supervisor.

Physical Requirements:

• Required to bend, stoop, walk and stand up to 8 hours a day.
• Must be able to lift or push up to 40 lbs.
• Can work independently and move about departments.
• Must have good or corrected vision to select/stock merchandise and read labels in English.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced busy environment.
