Job summary

Monarch Communities is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness in residents' apartments and common areas. The role reports to the Maintenance Director and is a full-time, hourly position with a Tuesday-Saturday schedule.

Responsibilities include cleaning, sanitizing, and safe storage of chemicals, plus reporting maintenance or safety issues promptly. A high school diploma or GED and cleaning experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in cleaning environments is beneficial.
• Ability to communicate with residents and team members.
• Demonstrates reliability and responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide housekeeping in resident apartments by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, emptying trash, and laundering linens.
• Ensure common areas are kept clean and sanitized as assigned.
• Handle and store all cleaning chemicals in accordance with OSHA regulations.
• Maintain housekeeping storage areas clean and organized.
• Report maintenance issues to the Maintenance Director.
• Ensure safety issues are reported immediately (broken glass, leaks, etc.).
