A parent in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn, needs to hire a live-in Housekeeper/Cook/Nanny to manage their home and offer cooking support and light childcare for two preteens/teens. Responsibilities include general household upkeep and organization (though there is a part-time housekeeper who handles the deep cleaning), running family & household errands, school drop off & pick up, supervising the children after school and when the parent travels for work (including overnights), family cooking, and pet care. Children are mostly self-sufficient but need a responsible adult to act as an extra pair of eyes and ears to make sure all is well. Private bed and bath offered, and the family is open to someone who needs 7-day live-in accommodations. While the typical schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7 am to 5/6 pm, the parent requires some flexibility to handle overnights when they travel for work (typically 2-3 days at a time).
