Responsibilities include cleaning floors, walls, windows, mattresses, and furnishings; handling waste disposal; and assisting with snow removal and supply replenishment as needed.

• Equivalent combination of acceptable training and experience enabling performance of listed duties.

Responsibilities

• Receives instructions, assembles cleaning supplies and equipment for designated area.
• Sweeps, mops and wet washes floors; washes walls, ceilings and windows by hand.
• Gathers and disposes of trash; washes wastebaskets and large refuse containers.
• Cleans and changes mattresses; washes doors and door frames; cleans elevator doors and walls.
• Cleans air outlets, grilles and dusts furniture; vacuums rugs and spot cleans as needed.
• Disinfects beds, wheelchairs and other equipment; cleans louver drapes.
• Moves furniture to access rooms; cleans lighting fixtures and high places with ladder.
• Shovels snow in inclement weather and ensures sidewalks are clear for the next shift.
• Replenishes supplies; performs related work as assigned.
