The role follows schedules, handles light bulb changes, window cleaning, and disinfecting fixtures, and supports general housekeeping tasks as directed by the supervisor to maintain sanitary conditions.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year's work experience in a commercial establishment with knowledge of laundry/housekeeping procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of general housekeeping/cleaning duties to maintain a sanitary, safe, attractive, and orderly facility.
• Follow cleaning schedules and assignments from supervisor, including offices, restrooms, activity rooms, kitchens, entrances, and utility areas.
• Replace light bulbs, clean lint from dryers, vents and registers; maintain grounds by removing debris and cleaning outdoor areas.
• Clean and disinfect fixtures, floors, walls, doors, ceilings, and furnishings; reposition furniture as needed for cleaning.
• Other duties may be assigned.
