Ohio Living Avon is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Associate to maintain clean, safe, and comfortable resident homes, patient rooms, and common areas in our life plan community. You will follow our standards and regulations to ensure high-quality cleanliness.

Responsibilities include dusting, cleaning bathrooms, floors, windows, and keeping supplies stocked, while following infection control practices. High school or equivalent preferred; one year of housekeeping experience is a plus; English

Qualifikationen

• Tenth grade education required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of housekeeping experience preferred. On-the-job training provided.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Aufgaben

• Dusts furniture, tables, window ledges, lights, beds, high pipes, and other dusting.
• Cleans and polishes tables, fixtures, furnishings, and woodwork.
• Cleans, washes, and disinfects bathroom sinks, toilets, tubs, showers, and floors, and polishes chrome bathroom fixtures.
• Cleans windows and mirrors in bathrooms, entrance/exit ways, patio doors, etc.
• Cleans all floors and baseboards by disinfecting, sweeping, dust mopping, wet mopping, waxing, buffing, etc.
• Vacuums carpets and carpeted stairways.
• Cleans walls and ceilings by wiping, dusting, spot cleaning, etc.
• Maintains clean work areas and ensures equipment and supplies are in proper working order.
• Maintains adequate supply of housekeeping and cleaning supplies.
